Orange Bridge: 55 000 m²
Lightboard-Paris has been in charge of the artistic direction of the first headquarters of Orange. Major constraints have been identified in terms of sustainability, brand identity and work processes. Office design is now a real challenge for the company who want to reinforce its forces task, its image and its capacities to attract and federate its employees.
Here some personal words to explain the choice of some furniture selected.
Collection Seasons by Piero Lissoni for Viccarbe.
Elegancy, generosity, beauty, that’s Piero Lissoni. What a chance I had to collaborate with him several years ago. And now the season’s family - chairs and pouf - resist overtime, over style.
Penta, Toan NGuyen for Viccarbe
Toan NGuyen always gives priority to physical relationship with users. Intelligible forms, immediate sense of meaningful utilization, sensuality of materials, emotional impact of the object... The best way to express comfort and status. Penta by Viccarbe.
Parrish, Konstantin Grcic for Emeco
Konstantin Grcic is one of my favorite designers (I have to confess) and one the best !
Parrish, the collection he designed for Emeco fits so well with the brand image of Orange that I couldn't resist to select it. I find the line reminds the lightness and the roundness of Orange's logo. And the way you sit on this chair breaks the rules!
Locus Solus by Gae Aulenti for Exteta
Historical design brings a touch of vintage with a contemporary twist. Here Locus Solus by Gae Aulenti, still edited by Exteta. The sinuous shape combines to linear element brings softness and stability. Sometimes it's nice to go back to the past and to enlighten an emblematic designer of the 20th Century for an headquarters turns to the 21th Century. Why not?
Collection Strong by Eugenie Quitllet for Desalto.
Using Art and poetry to shape new idea! It reminds me the permanent smile of the team!
